Dr. Nilakantha Meher
I am an Assistant Professor of Physics at SRM University, Andhra Pradesh, India. My areas of research include theoretical quantum optics and quantum information processing.
I am also passionate about teaching and developing accessible learning resources in quantum physics. I teach courses such as “Quantum Computation: Background and Formulation” and “Quantum Computation and Algorithms,” with an emphasis on connecting theoretical concepts with practical implementation. As part of my teaching, I provide students with hands-on experience using Qiskit and IBM Quantum Composer, helping them gain practical exposure to quantum computing. I am interested to develop educational books and resources to make advanced topics in quantum physics and quantum computation easier to understand.
